Georgi Krastev Bambalov Georgi Bambalov graduated the High Institute of Wine, Food and Tobacco Industries in Plovdiv, subject 'Technology of wine", in 1957. In the same year he started working as engineer - technologist at the Wine factory "Dimyat" in Varna. In 1960 he was appointed to work as assistant professor at the Faculty of "Technology of wine" at the High Institute of Wine, Food and Tobacco Industries in Plovdiv. Further he became associate professor and professor. He used to give many lectures on the |
subjects "Microbiology of wine" and "Enology". He has defended a thesis on the problems of the apple-milk acidity fermentation. The scientific degree "Doctor of technical sciences" professor Bambalov received for his researches in the area of the wine microbiology - selection of yeast and conducting the alcohol fermentation. He has more than 120 publications in the area of the high technology and microbiology. |
